I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    19. No doubt about it.

23, do you REALLY need a full size? 23 can be concealed as well, not as good as the 27, but still do-able

just get the 23, the 19 is too big IMO...if you want a full size, then buy a .45

    .40 > 9mm

Wow, don't take advice from these people who don't even know what model they're talking about.

The G19 and G23 are the exact same size. The ONLY difference is caliber (and weight of the slide if you want to split hairs) and magazine capacity.

The G17 and G22 are the full sized models. 9mm and .40, respectively.

10k rounds through my daily carry G19 without a single malfuction. I have less than 1k on a second G19, and about 1k on a G17.

.40 > 9mm =/= true. Put the round where it needs to go and that's what matters. I carry a G19 everyday and do not feel undergunned with 9mm.

I used to carry a 19 as my duty weapon and I loved that gun but it was just too big for an off duty weapon. Personally I carry a 27 and love it. Go with the 23 or if you want something smaller get the 27, but definitely go with a .40 its just more bang for your buck.

woopsie, i confused myself on the models, my bad (was even thinking to myself why would he be mixed between a full 9mm and compact 40 :-\

but DO NOT buy a sig, we just switched from our Berretta 92fs's to the p229, just from being 1 day at the range so far to get everyone qualified, the finish on the slides already started to wear down and there are even signs of rust already...cant beat the Tenifer finish that the glocks have...

SIGs do have a good reputation...but those were the SIGs of yesteryear. The new SIGs that are coming out these days are almost a completely different pistol internally than the SIGs back in the late 80s early 90s. If you can pick up a West German mfg P226/P228, those are GREAT pistols.

The G19 is most certainly NOT too big. I carry it concealed everyday all day. With proper dress and holster it's no problem.

Buds Gun Shop online has a great deal on a model 35. It's a fullsize frame in .45 GAP (Glock Automatic Pistol, a .45 round that is 9mm length). Several state police depts have converted to it, at least according to what I've read. I got mine for $379 delivered to my FFL.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    G35 is not a 45GAP, it's a longslide 40SW for competition, IPSC.

OP, why do you want a Glock if you already have a Springfield XD?.
Duplication plus different grip angles=I don't get it.
If you want a different size carry piece or a different cartridge, keep it in the same family for the same grip angle/muscle memory.
