Same as Rich on the weekends...

Just stay up on my "Friday" until 10 or 11pm the sleep normal. Also like Rich, currently living solo.

I do this sometimes. Especially when the weather is nice.

Same here but it's a little rediculous. We make fiberglass.

Yea. Go figure. We build gas turbines but our competition is 4-5 yrs ahead of us.
Guess they're afraid we would sell them to the Cambodians or one of them tribes that lives 200 ft off the forest floor somewhere in the Amazon.

Anyway..I'm jettin. Gonna go pick up my winch extension line, blow some leaves around in the yard so I feel productive and maybe drink a spaten optimator or 5.

Be good fellers and may you all sleep well today.

Work hours 10PM to 7AM; 50 min commute either side. Days off Sunday and Monday night, and every other Saturday night. Friday night before 3 day break is 8 hr shift (ends at 6AM). Work eight 9 hr shifts and one 8 hr shift every two week pay period.

I generally sleep 3 to 4 hours in the morning when I get home; get up middle of the day to do chores or whatever; then sleep 3 to 5 hours before getting up @ 7:30PM. Leave the house @ 8:30PM.

Only thing that bothers me is I can't manage to sleep more than 5 hrs at a time, even on my days off. Stay up 'til 10PM and I'm awake by 3AM. On days off, when I feel tired, I take a nap.

EDIT: This works for the wife and I now; we have the same days off. I'm not sure how well it would have worked back in the day when the boys were still home and there was more going on around the house. I intentionally stay on nights to avoid the day shift politics and reindeer games. I've been asked to apply for manager positions and turned it down twice so far. I did enough of that on active duty. That AD retirement check gives me a little flexibility. ;)

Things are good. Finally a nite of some gravy work.

Sunny and warm here as well but I slept well. Going to rain today so should be real nice.
Lol. Sometimes I pray for gloomy, rainy weather!!

Well. South Carolina's been in a drought for the last ten yrs or so.
So I don't feel bad about it.
I also don't feel bad about wasting 12 hrs occasionally on said gloomy day, catching up on the sleep that I've missed. Nope, don't feel bad about it at all. :)
