    This evening, my watchfloor (navy) has proposed a new schedule to have us work 7 days in a row (We are a 24/7 weather center). 3 days of days, 4 days of swings, 3 days off, 4 night shifts, 3 off rinse repeat. Needless to say, everyone at work is fighting it tooth and nail.

    They are changing it because right now we only get 2 actual weekends every 15 weeks. We have 5 watch sections, and our current rotation is 3 days,3 swings, 3 off, 3 nights, 3 off

    Its absolutely horrible for family life only having 2 weekends every 15 weeks. They are saying that the “new” schedule will allow 2 weekends out of every 5 weeks.
