I'm on night 4 of 4 and outta here in 2:05 for 3 of 3 unless the bastards ask me to work overtime...I'm hoping I can skate before they do.

I got shafted tonight. Machine went down so I got loaned out.
NEVER happens to the machinists. Bastards sit for days, sometimes weeks waiting for maintenance to show up.
Not me. Nope. 2 mins after my machine goes downi get loaned out to the shithole.

Nice. That's not something we have happen either. Some nights, I wish I'd get loaned out for a little break in the bordem even though, the past few weeks have not been slow for me.

I'm headed your way in a few weeks.

Gonna do something I've never done. Ride that train from Memphis to NOLA. What part of LA. are you?

It's for the parents anniversary. They don't know they're going yet.

I'm flying my sister down here too. She knows she's coming here (not really an option) but, she doesn't know the rest of it.

I booked the train and hotel this evening at work. The train was much cheaper than I expected.

    I do, I do.

I was just joking with some cats I work with (who are also from Indiana) about that very thing. We're going from Mid 70s and sun this week to wind and 27 Tuesday back to the mid 70s by Friday.

Of course it's 18 at my old place in Indiana right now.

I'm hoping. Didn't book the hotel on Bourbon Street though...was a little concerned about noise. My plan is to keep the entire trip a secret and let them figure it out as we go.

Have you done any of the paddle dinner boats on the Mississippi? Are they decent?

If you like surfing in mid 20 deg weather and sleet, have at it.
We got some really sketch weather headed this way in the next day or two.

Thanks Rich. You have a good week.

Our NOLA visit isn't until the 2nd week of April. I'm hoping it warms up but, that's the date of the wedding aniversary so....

NOLA trips are always a blast. Bourbon hotel is a no go for me dude. I like it in the french quarter or on canal. Its all so accessible in that area no matter where you stay really.
