Great movie. Gotta have respect for a guy that did all his own stunts.

 We night shifters are a strange lot; "normal" people are saddened by a rainy day, we rejoice for a day conducive to sleeping well. ;)

So true. Plus my yard and day Lilly's are getting a much needed shower.
Yesterday, asplundh was having a convention at my neighbors house with one of those stump grinders. Even my foam earplugs couldn't block that noise out.

 It's always something. Hope the rainy day keeps the noisy activities to a minimum so you get a good sleep.

    Nice!!
Reminds me of the time I bailed out of here, hurried home and was in bed by 7:30am.
Woke up feeling awesome. Looked at the clock and it was 9:30.
Thought, Dayam that was a sweet little power nap.

Got up and went downstairs for a glass of milk. Dark outside. "Wth' I thought.
Looked at the stove clock. It was 9:30.....pm.

I actually went to bed at 14:00 and didn't even set my alarm because I haven't gotten more than 4-5 hours on a work "night". Woke up to my boss calling me at 00:30, 30 minutes after my shift started :eek:!

Ah well, it's not too big of a deal to be late as long as it's not more than once every 3-6 months or so.

No you don't, but I must. I had to google the name. But once you know, you can sure see the resemblance. ;)

I think those days have to happen every so often; it's our body's way of catching up on needed rest we didn't get. Amazing how good you feel after. Had one of those surprisingly good ones myself this break. :)

    You nailed it Rob.

Very cool Rich. I hate those cheap ass hold open rods our trucks come with.

Yee haw, I'm off and it's only the morning of day 2 of 3!!! :))

    Damn, I missed it.

A few weeks ago I made plugs for my windows. I bought some 8 inch thick foam, cut it about 1.5 inches larger than the windows and covered with black denim. They look like big couch cushions. I can put them in and out in about two seconds and the bedroom is black. I keep the house cool & put ear plugs in. I don't sleep a lot but, the quality is good.

I know who Susan S is but don't even know the other name so don't feel bad Rob. I'm a weirdo because I have a problem with much of the entertainment industry. It annoys me that they use their jobs to promote political opinions and it also annoys me that people are dumb enough to follow them. That being the case, as much as I can, I vote with my $$$ and don't consume the products from those I don't agree with...small and stupid I know but, I can't stand the thought of helping support anyone who would help insight an enemy while we have troops deployed in those countries. Susan (and her funny but loser boyfriend or ex boyfriend) Tim Robbins are, IMO, people who use their public format to insight...so.

Not a weirdo at all IMO. I don't disagree with anything you've said here.

What gets me is the crap that makes someone a celebrity nowadays ... Reality show after reality show :puke: ... I mean "Housewives of ... WHO GIVES A DAMN?"

Sorry for the short rant ... Crap gets on my nerves.

Thanks Rob I find thinking this way puts me in the minority most of the time. I really do believe, as a country, the biggest threat to a traditional US, is within our own boarders.
