I really can’t complain with the amount that my step dad and I got accomplished today. Took last night off because it was my younger son’s baptism yesterday and we had the after-party at the in-laws lake house.
Whirlwind of a weekend drains ya...

How you guys all doin?

 

Same old same ole.....waiting on 7am

 

Happy second Monday. Left at 6:45 am. Came back at 10:45 pm, my table has completely rusted over. Haha. Holy humidity. Haha.

I have this driving underlying force on which I must always maintain my work space. It's like hibernation or migrating

 

I understand. I can't stand for shit to be out of place while at work. It's strange b/c my place isn't as freakishly neat

 

For sure. I share a weld booth with 2 other shift. Both very nice guys. Neither are neat by nature at all. They try though, and respect it.

 

That's cool they try. I'm sure it makes it easier for them when they come into a clean work environment.

Was sleeping but woke up hungry

 

Someone needs to start bringing the weatherman in the north east here to fix this weekend

 

We made a Wendy's run tonight. Chili with a baked potato

 

Chili sounds really good right now. We grilled steaks yesterday before it started raining. Debating on how hungry I really am because i don’t want to get up. lol

 

I almost forgot. One of the gals I work with got to work tonight and was saying "Phillip, I saw your Jeep". The insurance company finally picked it up from the body shop after it being there for 5 weeks. I'm hoping they took the threat of a law suit from my best friend seriously. I guess we'll see when they send me the check. They valued my TJ at $8527 and tried to tell me that the body shop bill came out of my settlement. The bill was over $2,200(they were willing to pay $747.50 to the shop and the rest would be deducted from my settlement)

 

It was. I usually only want it when it's cold.....or as most outside of the South say "Fall/Spring"

 

Haha. Yep. I'll second the chili sounding good right now. That's a crock pot favorite in our house. The left overs are even better as the pepper break down more.

 

I usually make deer chili every year

 

Eh we can all seasons within the same week so chili is good anytime
