I'm damn hungry so the blueberry waffles sound awesome! I'm jelly!

Here's what happened with the 4Runner...
I'm no longer in the Taco club.

No, the GA time is tomorrow & Wednsday, weather pending. I'll snap some shots if I go up. They're over in Louisiana, so you'll just see lots of empty cotton fields. But hey, who doesn't like flying, right?

How'd you make out on the yard work?

Congrats on the 4Runner! Glad you struck a deal agreeable to you. Ought to suit your needs well with the folks and dogs.

Flying is always good. Nothing wrong with cotton fields. Always reminds me of when my wife and I drove down to SC to get married. She's an Iowa girl and had never seen cotton plants before. Had me stop and she picked a sprig off a plant. It's sitting in one of her curio cabinets somewhere around here. :)

Put off the front yard to tomorrow. Overcast and cool this morning so I hung out and played with the grand kids. Clearing up now, forecast sunny tomorrow.

EDIT: Very Nice Looking Rig ... I like the color and the wheels.

Joe's a 4rnr owner? Congrats! Looks pretty sharp.

Nothing going on here. No rain today so I plugged/aerated the fron yard. Hooked up some straps and pulled 3 gnarly bushes out next to the front steps. Laid gravel and mulch down.

Now just catching up on some recent missing persons/serial killer news.

T-storms are moving in now and they have already issued flash flood advisories. Gonna get pretty wicked around here in the next hr or so.

Thanks Rob. I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Not sure what the deal is but, late yesterday I began feeling bad with low fever, sore throat & ears. For whatever reason I get sinus & eat infections like Bill Clinton had scandals. At any rate, I'm postponing my visit to Louisiana for a few weeks.

The cotton. It's like that with people that have not been around it. All around me I've got cotton, rice & milo fields and visitors from home always wanna walk out and check it out. The always grab some cotton off the plant. Have you seen how it's bailed? When it's bailed at the field to move it, the bails are about the size if a 40 foot semi trailer. Pretty huge.

Hope you made it through ok Rich. Thanks for the congrats on the new ride.

I'm a weirdo because, like you I think, I can't stand out of control shit growing next to my house, sidewalks ect. They gotta go!

Not much man. Been watching some news from around the area. Some real destruction. I'm off now & off work the next few nights. How'd y'all make it through the weather? Lots of tragic loss of life man...it's sad. Hope all is good there...

Sorry to read you're feeling sick. Probably driven by climate in part (humidity). I had a terrible time with sinus infections the 7 years we lived in England; every cold turned into one. Once I went to the dentist for a tooth ache and it turned out to be a sinus infection; tooth root was up by sinus cavity. X-ray showed the gunk next to the root. Haven't had one but once or twice since we moved here; it was a couple times a year the 7 years we lived in England. Hope you can rest up and get past the worst of it while on break.

I've seen the cotton bails, they are impressive. I grew up in VA and travelled around southeast a bit as a kid. My wife had never seen cotton in the field until that day. She flew out to NC (Pope AFB/Ft Bragg) the day before and we drove to Chesterfield, SC to get hitched by Justice of the Peace there. 30 yrs this coming October 2nd. Her reaction to the cotton fields was funny to me. Now the mention of cotton fields always reminds me of that day.. Don't take my man card. ;)

X2 on the Arkansas tornado. :(. Hope you and yours are safe Adam.

Thanks Rob. Other than some localized, very heavy rain we've only seen straight line winds in my immediate area. I've had tornados within about 15 miles to the east, west & northwest of my house but none in improved areas so it's just trees/forested areas. According to the forecast, we'll see the last of the shitty weather (other than being cold) out of this particular system.

 shortly after that post I saw your pics in LIVE with the 4Runner, figured you were OK. Hope the whole Summer is not gonna be rife with these heavy storms for ya'll. Makes me wonder after the way the Northeast got pummeled by snow this Winter.

Time to get ready for work. Leaving a little early to drop some stuff by my son's house.

Hey Rob. Yes sir, I needed some caffeine pretty bad. Couple of easy parts last nite with easy cleanups. Was fighting to stay awake.
Sky's been threatening to open up for almost 3 days and all I've seen is a sprinkle.
Feeling bad for all those that got hit with severe weather and tornados over the past few days.
    Finally home and comfy.

What's been goin on out your way? I see you had some time with the grandchildren.

Yep, always a good time with the grands. :D

Got a good start on my yard work; struck a balance between it and taking time to relax and play with the kids.

Hope the really severe weather stuff passes you by.

    Yea. It's all gone.
I think mine is caused by allergies from working in the yard.
Sore throat, sinus infection, itching, hives.
Laid out of work last nite it got so bad. Feeling a little better, one more nite and i'll deal with it this weekend.
