I fucking hate working with a doc that goes by red/blue numbers on the screen. Do your fucking job and go assess your patient and stop putting shit off on other docs. This mother fucker just called the cardiologist just to ask him if he wanted him to call the hospitalist(who is in the building and awake) to admit the pt. He needs to get the fuck out of an ER setting. This asshole runs every test for every known thing before even stepping in the room. His admit rate is over 80%.

We have a doc and a few charge nurses that I can't stand.

 

I need to re do my med pack. Not happy with it. It's good enough for camping, but I need more of a trauma kit really

 

This one charge we have does not tell the docs or anyone else what is coming in via ambulance... But, he will take radio report and meet the bus in the bay where he opens their rear doors, stands on the tailboard, demands a patient report, and gives them a bed assignment. He doesn't relay this info to us and it infuriates everyone.

 

Yeah. Being 3 hours on the side of the mountain with very limited cell service and driving 7 hours haha

 

Oh these were released a couple months ago.

 

I came into this ER when I was a freshman at Auburn. I had just gotten my insulin pump and one night my bs went sky high and I started throwing up. I got to the ER and just happen to reach down and feel my infusion set had come out. They had me hooked up to an insulin drip and fluids. I told this asshole that I would be fine once I got home and replaced the infusion set. He wasn't familiar with diabetes/insulin pumps, so he told me if I signed out AMA that my insurance wouldn't pay. He sent me to ICU for 5hrs until the morning doc came in and d/c'd me. So you can imagine my surprise to realize he still worked here once I came back to Auburn and got a job in the ER.

This mother fucker tried to tell me how to manage my diabetes when I have a better understanding of it then he does. This was the first month I had my pump, so I didn't realize I needed to check my infusion set. I haven't had respect for him since then.

 

He's the only one I don't like working with. All my other coworkers are cool.
