    I'm with you though. I'm not a fan of multiprocess machines. If I'm spending that much money on equipment then it's going to be great at what it does, not just ok at a few things.

    Ideally I'd have my dynasty for fine work, Millermatic for the garage and a bobcat for field repairs

    I'd say a Lincoln classic 300d for a genset, but I hardly stick weld ppe any more

    Yup . Just a case of go with what you know for me. I grew up on the 250 as well and it was always reliable. And we used to cook .045 dual shield spray through there for days straight. Loved it .

    Moving forward with doing more home fab, getting a solid mig set up just makes sense

    I've got a set similar. I'm so short and the shelves are so deep, I have no idea what is in the back. I end up not being able to find what I want, go out and buy it then magically it appears on those shelves.
