I'm going to make a trip there before I die. Want to drive the whole thing from NC to there. It is illegal to have handguns in Canada isn't it?

There's a lot of paperwork beforehand to transport a handgun. And it might not be approved to my understanding. I haven't done it personally, and most folks I know have sent their handguns separately thru a FFL. To my knowledge minimum barrel length is 18.5 inches with overall length not less than 26 inches.

If/when I get around to driving the entire ALCAN Hwy (it's on my list), I intend to take along my 12 gauge Remington 870 with rifled slug barrel.

Yeah I don't want to travel that far away from home without any protection. I'd have to have something.

Hello fellas! Just checking in real quick before I go eat some lunch.

Been busy earlier with an 18 wheeler loosing 2 wheels on the rear while transporting a 80K pound liquid container on our property. Took two 50 ton rated tow trucks to move him & unload the container from his ride before they could haul his truck off.

    For FireStomper:
You might find this and this interesting. Jake used to hang out in this thread some. He's a commercial fisherman who was working out of Kodiak up here. Last I recall he was about to become a boat captain.
