Had work tonight but somehow I am in Corpus Christi. Challenges of life led me to catch a sunrise over the ocean. I have never tried mediating on the beach so I'm anticipating a beautiful one.

Me thinks there's some symbolism in that picture. Everything's gonna be ok man. ;)

I was up for most of the nite. Seems my folks have this nice high def/satalite system with hdtv's in 3 rooms. They always talked about how razor sharp the images are.
To me the pictures looked washed out and the ratio was completely wrong.
So I start checking cables. Hdmi sat boxes...check. Hdmi tv's.....double check.
    Connection type......"Composite cables". wut?

Ugh! Tweaked my back today being stupid (I should've known better). I hope it clears itself up in a day or so. Last time this happened a couple years ago it felt worse and I was bedridden for 5 days.

Ouch! Hate back pain, sharp acute pain in one area? Any inflammation of the muscle?

Yeah it's sharp in one area when I straighten up, doesn't feel muscle related but it might be. It's definitely not nerve pain though. I'll never forget what that felt like. L4/L5/S1 is crap and it runs in the family. My dad and an uncle I know have degenerative disc disease and it was postulated that I have it in the early stages when I had the big back incident a few years ago (was dehydrated, drove for 20 hours in a car with out stopping much, got out, bent over and tweaked it so bad I couldn't walk without excruciating pain) but the small town hospital I ended up in after my abdominal muscles started spasming uncontrollably only had an x-ray and it didn't show much beyond some very slightly smaller than normal spacing in the L4/L5/S1 area. They gave me narcotic pain meds, and muscle relaxers and I laid in bed for literally 4 days with short trips to use the bathroom.

I've loaded up on anti-inflammatories and since I'm already at work will work tonight (I sit in a chair pretty much all night) and then will most likely take tomorrow off and just sleep, hydrate, and relax.

 omg I about fell out of my chair laughing at this..I'm sitting at the desk and one of my fave patients (FYI who is in his 70's) comes zooming down the hall in his electric wheelchair that he calls his scooter and says to me "Mel the nurses on the other floor are being mean to me " I ask what? why are they being mean to you? He answers " they are jealous because I'm this cute and have a little scooter " then he just takes back off down the hall lol :notsure:
