That’s always nice. I get a like $0.30 raise around October every year. It’s pathetic but luckily this job is a stepping stone

 

We are an exempt position? So we don't get included in the end of year raises but that's changing with the start of the new year so we're going to get an immediate pay bump as well as yearly increases based on performance.

That's not a raise. That's not even offsetting every year inflation. Your pay is going backwards

I've never understood how they get away with it. They mark it as Holiday pay, but I'm in OT. I figured they'd just mark it as OT and not holiday since OT is federally mandated and Holiday isn't. The way they mark it, it looks like they are stiffing me on OT.

Yeah, we're the least payed company on this contract and they owe us some back pay too so I'm not real happy with them right now but I guess a pay bump is a start.

I try not to look at that part of the pay stub. I did get my paycheck and disability a day early cause of the holiday though.
