Haha. At that point, just hold the repair guy as ransom until you get a new fridge.

If your not using much ice it is a good idea, I think, to empty it out and store it for use later. Helps prevent backups. Again . I think. Just something I do. Sometimes the chute gets clogged with the crushed ice . I never use that . Wife does

It’s covered under factory warranty til August then we got a 3yr extended after that. They don’t build appliances like they used to.

that door setup looks very similar to ours, the kids and wife use ice all the time so we leave it on. 904EEE77-89EA-440C-90BB-E72338C798FE.jpg

it really is disgusting... I had an Apple Watch that was going to be more expensive to repair than replace.

That's just Apple being the trash company that they are.
They purposefully make it more expensive to repair so you'll have to buy another one. That, their planned obsolescence and their efforts to shut down third party repairs on their products are some of the major reasons I'll never give them my money.

Unfortunately, I made the jump when the 6 plus came out and have stuck with it since. Just so easy to integrate all of my devices

I suppose. I've used one iPhone when one of my old phones broke a few years back. Buddy had an iPhone 4 that he let me buy off him for really cheap. I just got the wife to switch away from a lifetime of iPhone, too.

I knew there was a reason I liked my booze "neat".

Lol. We never even hooked up our ice maker. I bought a bag of ice early last spring. Most of it's still in the freezer.
