same. slowly getting to that point where everyone is getting pissy real fast. im ready for some beer and my own bed and some time away from these fuckers.

 

Yeah, I get pissy when I have to work weekends... After this weekend though, my schedule should be going back to normal.

When we were in Germany, we had a few fights because people were getting sick of each other. They had to start changing our bay assignments on the regular to keep people from beating the shit out of each other.

im surprised no one has done that here. plus my peeps are starting to piss me off. i keep having to remind them to do a simple tasking that should of been done in 15min.....

Yeah, that shit is annoying too. Luckily most of our stuff we used just had to be monitored after we set it up. Didn't really have to do anything with it besides fueling up the generator unless something broke, in which case I was the SME who had to fix it anyway.

Work, sleep, wrench a little on the Tacoma, wash, rinse repeat.

Still got another 6 shifts before my next day off. 17, 12 hr shifts.

 

Wife made me a quilt as a Valentine's gift. Double thickness and extra big.

 

you made me jealous with the steak picture, but hopefully the wee-ones go back to sleep soon

so annoying. i have to repeat the tasking a few times. neither of them have any initiative to do the job.... and half the time its half assed when it is completed. really wish i was independent duty sometimes. then it would be just me and id be fine with that.

Got a few things I'm gonna need to do to the taco when it warms up a bit. OBDII thing, hardwire the dash cam, oil change, put the spare back under the bed, clean it out....

I have a few blankets like that from when I was younger. Nice and warm.

Yeah, my woes consisted mostly of having to tell people repeatedly to make fuel runs and actually refill the generator. Other than that it was pretty laid back, honestly. Sitting around outside with coffee and smokes all day just making sure the thing was still running.

 

thats how i hope things go. chilling on the smoke bit on the back end of the ship, drinking coffee or bang, and hopefully this bitch doesnt sink or burn up...

 

Oh that’s Not happening, we’re up for the day.

we were all in to the Filet meal for $45 including the Asti bubbly. At a restaurant around here we’d be dropping a minimum $150 for the same thing. Came out perfectly rare/medium rare in less than 10 minutes.
