It's slow. Sorted a few missions out. 747 delayed a bit...'bout 4 hrs out now. It occurs to me I've spent a very large portion of my life waiting for planes to land.

I often wonder why they block some of the things they do. There's a few gun, Tacoma parts, no sports, etc sites I can't open. The sports is the only thing that is completely blocked. Everything else is a crap shoot. I can get Armslist, but not Schuyler Arms.

 

Yeah a lot of websites are complete toss-ups if they're going to load or not.
Anything video game related is a no no. I can get most gun sites. Patch makers are 50/50. Everything else is a gamble.

 

I can get some games on MSN, but miniclip and others are completely blocked.

 

All we have is the solitaire program on the computer

 

I know you have a calculator on the 'puter, too. Good times.

 

Yeah, we have that too but it's too cumbersome to flip the monitor over when I type 5318008 so it's not much entertainment.

Google voicing one of our friends that's in the hospital (not covid 19). She's in a panic because her phone battery is in the red. She tells me no one on the floor has an apple phone charger she can borrow for a bit. I told her to have one of the candy strippers run down to the gift shop and buy a changer.

I know I spelled "striper" wrong. I like my way better.

 

I find it hard to believe none of them have a charger. I know I always offer to charge pts phones at the desk in the nurse's station. I will never let them take it to their room b/c it's likely to go home with them. I've had them get pissed...….must not need their phone charged that badly.

 

I know! Exactly what I said! Fuck I have 3 that I can see from my work station here.

 

I don't blame them for not letting a pt have it in their room, but they could easily take her phone and charge it for her.
