I’ve only seen it on TV so probably not accurate but I’ve seen guys with a tent and heater with a whole in the middle of the floor. Is this just TV fiction? I honestly don’t know. That looks like something I could do. Sitting in the middle of a frozen ass lake with no structure or heat, I’m out.

 

Sounds like you guys need to come up this way to experience the seasons.

cape and the islands in the summer is majestic. brisk fall friday night football is nostalgic and priceless. Snow really ain’t that bad when it’s essentially the only “natural disaster” you have to deal with.

Meh, i knew I was never gonna play college ball as a 6’1” sub 300# offensive tackle so I still like to relive the glory days of 20ish years ago... the smell of the wood burning in the fall air takes me back each and every season.

You have to really enjoy your company, even if it's only yourself.
