I know the feeling. I can usually limp along in a daze during the day after a crappy night of sleep, but get crappy or limited sleep during the day and the night shift is just brutal. You'll make it, just a few more hours to go.

I agree. Bought some energy shots to help out tonight and so far so good.

I have another 9 hours to go, a little more than a few

Hmm... I guess I misspoke about the hours lol. I think my preferred energy drink are Monsters, but I'll usually drink one after drinking half a pot of coffee, or was it 3/4 of a pot? I can't tell most of the time. I've tried those 5 hour energy drinks and they don't do much for me.

Yup my go to is monster as well. I enjoy a nos every now and then or a cranberry redbull.

I bought a "spike" energy shot from a recommendation. Seems to be working.

Spike is pretty good, I've tried it a few times, but it's only available at Vitamin Shoppe which is out of the way for me. Never tried NOS, and that cranberry Redbull sounds good too. Hopefully you have some good wifi there so you can watch some movies.

Nos is good. Idk if it ever really helped me stay awake though. Favorite flavored drink there is. Its very unique.

Zero wifi. Just lucky my personal phone has service. My work phone has none.

I don't know how I would survive my night shifts without wifi. I don't get much signal where I work due to the lead shielding. I would probably (and should do this anyway), walk around and get exercise.

You have a lot of co-workers to chat with or anything else you can do during the down time?

Damn, that's even worse! Not sure what could be done to make it easier. Books might help or some homework. One of the Dr's I work with started to take up drawing to help him pass the time.

Yeah, I can see why you couldn't want to do that. A PS4 would be cool. What about a PS VITA or mobile games on your phone?

I used to have a vita. Thing sucked, no good games.

I have a gameboy emulator on my phone. With all the original pokemons (red, blue, yellow, silver, and gold). Fun times when i play those

I have some fond memories of that original black/white (yellow) Gameboy screen, then they came out with the Gameboy color, and that really changed things. I still miss some of the 8bit games on my original NES, but still can't figure out how I managed to use that brick controller so well.

Never played a nes. A little before my time.

I still have my last generation gameboy (the black/white aka yellow), gameboy color, and advance somewhere. With all the cartridge games i had. Color made everything much nicer.

I'm in the same boat. One man unit, off to the side of the refinery that no one comes to. Waiting to see who retires first, if dude at another unit retires like I think he is next month, i get his job in the control room that has a signal booster. If he doesnt, then Im installing one in this control room lol. Days I'm usually to busy to do much more than stare at my phone for a few minutes. Nights, however, I bring along my kindle, and bought a Nintendo 3DS for the super bored nights. Finally getting around to playing all the Zelda games lol.

One guy at work bought a 3ds before he went back to the office as well. I cant stand the "3d" screen. Hurts my eyes concentrating on it

Yea I turn it off. I got the 3DS XL for the larger screens. I can stand the 3D at the lowest setting for about 5 minutes before I get a headache. At the highest setting its like watching Seizurebots lol
