Not much, another night keeping a mill running.

I did get a couple comfort mods for the taco yesterday, and a short throw shifter.

I'll be sure to post them up when the parts arrive and are installed. Had to fork over the dough first. :spending:

Do the Tacomas have all the wires run, just not hooked up? Like, are the cruise control wires from the steering wheel forward there, just not button on the wheel?

Most of the time yes. Some models the wiring isn't there but it's easy to add. My old access cab didn't have the wires, I'm hoping this one does.

I would think it'd be more cost effective to just have 1 wiring harness

Also on today's latest safety violation. Old timer millwright and I were repairing a broken wire to a contact in a 480 volt box. I asked the old timer if he had his multimeter to see if said wire was live. (14 gauge signal wire, not the main 480.) He goes "nah, don't need it" and swipes the exposed copper of the broken wire across a ground bolt. Just about scared the shit out of me since we just had arc flash re-training. Thankfully the wire was indeed dead. Repaired the connection and got the hell out of there just shaking my head.

Well, if you can explain how I had an 09 access cab base model with a rear view camera in the tailgate handle, all factory wired and ran to the cab, with no powered mirror to actually display the camera...
