I shoulda bought a mini camper trailer but instead I moved in with my friends and am paying an absolute fucking fortune in rent

$3300 + utilities split 3 ways. So my part is like $1200.

so buckle up it’s story time.

I got my best friend/roommate from college a job where I work. We work on an Indian reservation hospital. I lived on the rez where rent is basically free. But he lives in flagstaff, the closest city, because most people can’t find housing on the rez. I just got lucky.

So when he was pricing it out, a 2 bed apartment was $2200+. His girlfriend came with him. So a 3 bed house made more sense and I was like yeah I’d be interested in moving in since it has a garage, I’ll be in the city during my off weeks, etc etc. I work 7 on 7 off. And frequently travel on my off weeks because I don’t like living on the rez.

but I kinda regret it now. I got a girlfriend at the same time as moving in so I stay with her 2-3 days on my off week. And I still like to travel a little. So now I’m paying a fortune for a second “home” that I absolutely don’t need.

 

My buddy was paying $2k a month for his apartment..... He was living off $1k a month.... He could've easily just found some roommates and bought a lot of toys!

 

I also think buying a home is terrifying... My sister had to refinance 40year contact....

 

I do ok after rent. I should ditch some toys though. Gonna sell my dirt bike next year. Trying to sell some guns and a bicycle.

 

Mountain bikes? or Motorcycle?

 

Haha a legit dirt bike, Honda CRF450L, and then a Kona steel gravel bike.

 

Ahhhh, I want to get a DRZ but i'm a little short HAHA damn... legs...

 

Sup fellas? Off but wide awake at 4am. This flip flopping the weekend sleep schedule is going to be the death of me.

 

Late to the party! We started early !

 

Ya I was in bed at 850pm; was up at 11am for the day yesterday…on 3 hours sleep.
Busy day today; taking the boys to their great grandparents farm and then to the pumpkin patch. Then filling a 20yd dumpster with a fall clean out of the attic, basement, garage and barn. Hoping the rain holds off

 

These 12hrs Shifts, Are going by fast. Didn't know it was Friday! HAHAHA

 

I’d get something fuel injected. I don’t have very long legs, like a 32” inseam, but I do fine

 

I had a few bikes, 2007 650r ninja, 2008 650r ninja, 2015 Honda grom and 2007 CBR600RR. The tallest bikes I try riding was a daytona 675

 

I wish I didn’t dismantle my street bike. Really craving a ride

 

Off but was awake with the 3yo at 0445. 5yo got up an hour later…hoping to get a couple hours when princess finally gets up.

 

Time to make the donuts….
