Yep, do that right now, then tomorrow night as well.

Then 11am-8pm on Monday and Tuesday, off W,T,F. and work 12am-1pm Friday night to Saturday afternoon.

 

I've only been on graveyard at this job for a year and a half. But going on 3 years of midnights. Luckily I'm soon headed to days myself. They just need to stop dragging their feet hiring someone.

 

that's my problem as well. i just got a promotion so as soon as they fill my position ill be heading to the day side of things. be glad when its over but at least i get extra for working the nights. what do you do?

 

What do you guys/gals do for a livin?

 

since my promotion now i'm a maintenance coordinator. basically i plan and schedule all the work for all the technicians now. previously I was a maintenance technician.

 

IT for a major hospital in my city.

 

Public Safety Officer for a University.

 

Yep. Full set of gears sitting in the garage lol. But the end is in sight, our Hydro pressure test actually passed, so we can move on and start the boiler up

welcome to my life. ive got at least three years before i get weekends off, then another three before i can get days... might not want to go back by then

 

My wife got picked a couple years ago. When they read the guilty verdict the guy grabbed a bottle of pills and upended it trying to commit suicide!

I'm hospital maintenance. I rely on our power plant operator for warnings of potential problems. The control room that looks like mission control and appears to be understaffed with just one person to watch more displays than I can count.

20+ years of industrial maintenance. Never wanted anything to do with managing. To many headaches

Been there done that! I was on 2nd shift for over 10 years with a stint on 3rd shift in there. Gotta love maintenance, my motto: There is always something to fix!

yeah, we will see how i like it this will be the first position of this caliber for me luckily its a small group so shouldn't be too bad.

Randomly busy night tonight. Medical call, parent complaint *rolls eyes*, and then a fire alarm from someone who "burnt mac n cheese"...though it was a nice thick hanging smoke that smelt fruity from their spray freshener....uhuh...yup that's it.

 

Huh. Do people seriously not know how to stop their Fire Alarm when they burn shit in the kitchen? That was like age 8 when Dad cooked something lol "quick, grab the chair and push the button!"

 

There was quotations for a reason, lol. I doubt it was Mac n cheese

 

Intelligence analysis, crime correlation / realtime tracking for high risk offenders on probation and parole. Just got weekends off after being here for almost 3 years. Was a c.o. for many years before that.

 

Wife points this out this morning after going to dinner last night for the first time since our 4month old has been born... Already checked with cameras at 2 of the 3 places we went. Who does that to a brand new truck?

 

damn sorry to see that happen on any vehicle not to mention a brand new truck.
