NYE is on my off day for the first time in a few years, and is one of two "holidays" the better half cares if I get off for, the other is Halloween. Coincidentally, both for drinking/partying reasons :D

Yes it is. Sometimes trading my youth for money doesn't seem like a great deal in the long run. Waddayagonnadu? It is life.

    Hi Kirk.

No kidding it did. That's exactly what I was thinking; didn't seem like it was that much prior to Christmas when it started. Older I get, quicker time goes it seems. :notsure:

I am. After driving home in snow and partial whiteout I was tired enough I slept 'til 2PM. Then stayed up 'til 10PM ... layed down to sleep, ... back wide awake at 12:30 AM. It's getting more difficult for me to sleep through the midnight to morning hours on my days off. :notsure:

But I still want no part of the dayshift games where I work. ;)

In short, it feels like we're heading back to normal, but it'll spread out over a couple years. :notsure:

Still a little light on snow, or so it seems to me. When I clear the drive later today, it'll only be the third time I've used the snowblower this Winter. Probably shovelled a light amount off 3 or 4 times so far. We've had one subzero cold snap. Otherwise temps have been relatively "normal" by my recollection. It seems we still have this polar vortex thing happening from the way ya'll and the northeast have gotten slammed a bit.
