Yes....uncle Sam gave it to me twice without lube. I scaled it back just like 2 hrs and it dropped me into a lower bracket. I'm dialed in pretty good for 20 hrs OT.
    After that...its pointless.

How's everyone doin? Haven't been on here in a few weeks, works been busy and the weather has warmed up (flash flooding everywhere, been 40+ degrees the past week or more). Stuck on graveyard for another 6 weeks unfortunately..probably going to swing shift (2pm-10pm) next bid.

By the 23rd day shift will be down 2 people because of someone leaving. They're very close to hiring my 3rd shift replacement. So hopefully they'll just bump me up on first already. The nights are really starting to drag on

I'm guessing you are involved with dormitories. My first job was to work the night shift security rounds in a dormitory. I think the only thing I ever did was take the keys out of doors because the owners were too drunk to pull them out and take them into the room with them.

Luckily this day in age it's all proxy cards that they store on the backs of their phones. Save for the oldest dorm.
The main concern here is the on campus apartments they have. 4 bedroom 800 sqft apartments that they will cram 70 something people in. You can just smell the booze 20ft away some nights.

At least it's got my nose in tune to someone who's been drinking other than smelling straight alcohol. I know that disgusting sweet smell their b.o. puts off.

I'm on my last night/day of vacation:( We went up to Ashland WI for our nephew's graduation. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Northland College. Going on to Idaho for his doctorate:eek:Smart kid! Good weekend camping, perfect weather, and as usual the Taco pulled the camper no problem:thumbsup:

I posted that about 3 years ago. I got a message last night he's been accepted to Notre Dame, full scholarship! Only about 200 miles away, I feel a road trip coming on:D Career student I guess. But I didn't really start working a career type job until I was 27.

Well....i still havn't made it into work.
Ran into construction on the way in that set me back 15 mins. So instead of taking personal time....I took "bad time". Lol.

Its 1 point against me whether its 1 min late or 4 hrs late.
Just cruising town trying to stay under the radar. :)

What's with the pic of a cop? Haha
And damn. I'm guessing that it doesn't screw any of your crew workers over?
I'd probably do the same if I had the second system. Here there are people late on the daily because there is no repercussion.

Yea. He was parked when I pulled in. I use my phone as a dashcam and run it in 20 min loops.
So he was gettin coffee and sat there for a bit while I was in the store.
We chatted for a few after I came out then checked my footage.

Im the only person running this particular machine across 3 shifts. So, when I'm out, it generates OT for me. :)
