With that job out of the way, I was able to start work on the Tacoma. I got the Tacoma on the rack in preparation of the new exhaust to arrive early next week. It was stupid to stay up til 0900.

1530 rolls around and I get a notification telling me my RoIMG_20170808_160157048.jpg ck Auto parts have been delivered. I wasn't expecting the exhaust til next week. I guess I'm replacing an exhaust.

So I did. Didn't have enough time to drive the truck, but it sounded so quiet! I was running late, so just drove the Tundra again.

New exhaust was a perfect fit. Rock Auto always get it right the 1st time.

On a side note, I'm an idiot and should not be trusted with sharp tools.

I started the truck and put it in reverse to back it out of the garage and nothing. I figured I must have knocked the transmission linkage loose or something. Would just free rev (quietly, I might add). Said the hell with it and headed into work with the other truck.

On the drive in, the light bulb lit.

In my sleep depraved state this morning, I put the transfer case in neutral so I could roll the truck forward or backwards to get the proper balance on the lift. I forgot to put it back to 2Hi. Duh!

Is that a hydraulic lift? I've never seen one of those used in a residential area. Only with businesses. Neat.

Yep. Im kind of a tool nut. It sure saves on your back and knees and makes muffler change outs a 25 minute job.

If I lived in the southern states, I would have one of these outside. They don't care if they get wet.

Heading in for 3 of 4. Been trying to build an automotive shop below my wood shop but funds have been reallocated to family responsibilities.

One reason PDs love our warrants, arrest stats boosted with very minimal paperwork.
