Thanks, yep Mediterranean/diabetic diet. Trying to get into a new routine. Got a bazillion (ok maybe a doz.) new prescriptions. Sleep, take pills, walk, take pills, sleep, take pills, maybe eat in there somewhere, take some pills. So far I've been taking it easy on the OXY, but it is available if the pain gets to be to much:thumbsup: No lifting over 10# and no driving (the worst part)
Take it easy. Eat right and exercise!

2/16. Not sure what day I'm looking for. Too depressing to do the math.

Now, paycheck math, that's pretty enjoyable...except for taxes.:ballchain:

Looks like I need to find another place in the Florida Keys to go fishing. The cottages we stay in were hit very hard. The office building and all the docks in the marina are gone. the 3000 above ground fuel tank is 100 yards to the north west.

I bet they will rebuild that stuff faster than you think, unless you had a fishing trip planned in the next few months.

I've always wanted to go to the Keys, I think that would be a really cool vacation spot. I've been to San Diego a couple of times, I loved it out there.

We go every other year. I went back in June.

The Keys are an amazing place.

im expecting the rebuild speed to be directly related to the ability of the building supply chain to cope with two massive demands for supplies simultaneously, and the ability of contractors to actually rebuild stuff without getting smashed by another storm.

Yeah I hear what you're saying, but I would say a really nice vacation spot like the Keys, will probably get their stuff rebuilt a little quicker than your average subdivision.

Because of the hurricanes? That would be a bad time if one of those popped up on your destination.

I've never been on a cruise, and I know statistically speaking, the chances of getting one of those "nightmare" cruises is really low, but with my luck it would happen to me.

One of those cruises where they have to keep everyone in their rooms because of some crazy illness almost everyone on board gets. Or, one of those cruises where something breaks really bad, and sewage is running down the cabin walls. :goingcrazy:

I hear you on the rebuild of vacation locations, but I don't know how fast they can get materials the 100 miles down US 1. There is always the option of shipping materials by boat as well, I would think.

As for cruises, my wife or myself never had the desire. We want to see different places on our own terms.

If I'm on the ocean, I'm gonna be driving the boat.

Just did a 7 day in Alaska. It was AWSOME! There were 11 of us so it was super convenient to travel with everyone. I worked 2 months on a cruise in Hawaii that was pretty good too, probably more fun as a passenger though. Just don't pick a Caribbean trip during hurricane season. It's better to go to the beaches in winter time anyways.
