It was a really cool show, they were all "synchronized" like their music videos. It was a local radio stations birthday bash, I think lawn tickets were only $10.

I seen John Fogerty when he was 70. I couldn't believe the energy and charisma he had at that age, he was jumping around and everything. One of the better concerts I've been to.

Mine was Metalaca back in 91?

Since then I don't think I've gone to any. The concert sound ruins the music for me.

Now Lazer Floyd, I love that. Light show with theater sound. Love me some dolby.

I seen Metallica in 97'. I would of liked to seen them on the And Justice For All tour. One of the best shows I seen, was Roger Waters in '99. We were 3 rows from the stage. He did all the old Pink Floyd stuff from Meddle, Animals, Wish You Were Here etc. One of the coolest experiences in my life. Didn't know we were going to be seated that close, we just knew we had seats, not lawn seats.

I so want to play Don Felders Heavy Metal, original video, but there is too, much skin.

If someone wants to search for a clean version, I'm all for it. I just know our internet gestapo would flag me like a mofo if I searched for it and played it. I like my work internet.

No, the video. It's got skin too.

The Movie was awesome when I saw it in 1986.

Been away from the forum for a while. Kid is getting divorced from wife and three kids in the mix. So, I've been kinda distracted. Moving toward starting a home based business to augment my retirement, and maybe help our son along the way, or at least make it easire for me and the wife to help him. The courts are merciless but you all know how that goes...

Anyway back in for 2 of 3...

So I've been told. Divorce is a bitch for everyone. Kids makes it so much harder.

Yeah everyone loses. I can't understand some things in life and giving up on family is one of them.

I'm at the point where I still would like to see hard rock shows, but will pay extra for the balcony seats where the music isn't as loud and the people arent packed asshole to elbow. My bucket list venue is red rocks out in CO. I saw shinedown at an old opera house in Boston and it was phenomenal because of the sound.

    Damn, THAT takes me back!

I listened to this a lot back when I had just the greatest apartment when I was a kid. I had some really awesome times that year!

I was lucky to get to see the "And Justice For All" tour in Seattle at the Kingdome. Absolutely. Fucking. Incredible.

Funny thing was, until that concert I didn't even LIKE Metallica (crazy, right?). I was gonna use their set to go get some beers and food and hit the head, but the girl I was there with fell asleep on my arm when they came out on stage. I stayed, and they absolutely blew my mind! INSTANT Metallica fan. :headbang:
