    just curious, what kinda internet research are you actively performing while lubing this so called "shaft"?

    OEM Roof Rack, 3" lift, 1.25" Spidertrax Wheel Spacer, Front skid plate
    A dry lube in these joints would be a better application, maybe even a Teflon product. They would resist water and dirt and be more likely to stay in the joint over longer periods.

    I wouldn't use dry lube for my U-joints. :confused:

    I prefer a silicone based lubricant for my shaft, but Valvoline synthetic multi-purpose for the truck.

    Not the dry lubriciante you are thinking of. A Molybdenum disulfide based dry lubriciate AKA Moly lube grease. Something of that nature.

    I trust my girlfriend with greasing my shaft, she's very good at it but it gets messy from time to time. I sometimes have to bite the nipple though...

    I found 1 in front of the 1st pic but can't find the 5th. I've rolled up a couple inches and looked everywhere. Which one am I missing.

    Best part was the hottie from across the street came out with who poodle and asked what I was doin. Just greasin my shaft...

    Put it in N and apply the parking break, you can turn both shafts by hand (front and rear)
