I came across this article and am thinking of giving it a shot. It involves directly soldering a 3.5 jack to the board itself. Obviously much more involved that just plugging in a PA15 TOY or Metra unit and lacks all the features, but substantialy cheaper and I like to challenge myself. Has anyone had a stock headunit apart or heard of this mod?
