1 - I'm looking to replace the 9 year old headlamp assemblies on the 2010 Tacoma. Can anyone recommend a site, etc ? I'm new at this so the only place in know to look is Amazon.
2 - Once I get them, are there any measures I can to take to prevent leaking?

i have about 2.9 hr book time estimated to replace these headlamp assemblies
    is that about spot on?
    ...very labour intensive if so
+ 0.5 hr to AIM them...
why would they need to be AIMED?

It takes me about 25 minutes to swap headlights, and they should be aimed so that you are not blinding oncoming traffic.

are you talking just the bulbs through the engine bay or the Whole headlamp assemblies?, that appears the bumper cover needs removed (either fully or partially) to access the bottom bolts

there must be more to all of this for the Aiming bit that i am currently thinking of...i have not yet noticed Any adjusting bits or anything like that

I attempted to do mine. At some point I realized I was going to run out of daylight before figuring out how to get that last fastener off.

It’s a bunch of crap to remove to get to them but I think the bumper cover stays on.

I scoured YouTube for an instructional video. They all skip over getting that one fastener. I do remember it’s a good idea to have some masking tape to help prevent scratching something.

I know it sounds odd but closing your eyes and sticking your tongue out helps getting at a blind fastener.

Keep in mind “book time” is based on one guy who spent the last 10 years doing just that one task so he’s really good at doing it fast and has every possible tool necessary. So yeah, it’s possible for that one guy. A professional mechanic can possibly get close. A backyard mechanic with access to fewer tools probably not. So don’t feel bad if it takes you longer.

Not clear why you are replacing them. You say to freshen up the front of the truck. Does that mean you want to replace them because the lens have oxidized and are not clear?
