Headlight ISSUE!!! Help

So today while working on my truck with it running lights off one of the lights turned on.... Functioned them a few times and got them to go off but here's a video I'm still having issues need help and advice what to check

Problem solved relays bad

Never had this happen in any vehicle ever lol

 

My Nissan was bad about relays...3 relays for trailer lights...any of which could cause the lights not to work..

 

I want having a problem with them not working they worked even when they were off lol pulled the relay so I don't have to worry about a random dead battery

 

My 2000 has some relay under/behind the glove box I hear clicks when I turn on the headlights maybe its the same one you have pulled?

 

Problem is not fixed put a new relay in it... Turned them on when I needed them and they won't shut off now... Even when I pull the relay they stay on.... WTF

 

I seriously have to disconnect my ground wire when I shut it off now to keep my headlights from draining the battery... And I've got a lot of ground wires and it's really turning into a real pita

 

so which relay did you change? Also once you connect the battery again do they still stay on or is it just when you go to turn them on for the first time that they stay on?

 

As soon as I attach my ground wire they turn on... Headlight relay under the hood next to battery

The one that says head... I assume to mean headlights relay

 

There might be another relay underneath the dash behind the glove box area...maybe its shorted out to hot... 82642a

Pretty sure this is my problem considering it started out as only one on...

 

Problem is fixed replaced with the new one today and works perfectly... Really need to get my inner fenders formed to make sure road debris isn't a factor
