heated side view mirrors

my 2013 sport model did not come with heated side view mirrors...1 has been knocked off...just wondering if the truck came prewired for the heated mirrors so when i get ready to change the mirrors i thought about buying the 1s that have the heat strip installed

No Tacomas have ever come with heated mirrors.

 

I almost didn't buy my 15' Taco because it is not an option... RRR I hate to this day having to use a rag to wipe the condensation off the mirrors just to get out of the driveway...then they fog again. Geesh even my Kia Soul had heated mirrors and power folding mirrors for that matter... just couldn't do truck stuff well LOL
shall keep a rag handy

 

A heated steering wheel would be nice too ! Lol

 

Tacomas have heated mirrors, said no salesman ever.

 

Do the 2010+ 4runner mirror mod! Heat/power/signal/puddle lamp (at least in Canada). If you are planning on replacing them anyway, the 4runner mirrors bolt right up to tacoma spindles, you just have to buy the switch and be prepared to do a little wiring

 

Or do the redneck mod. Use snowmoble/atv heated grip pads. Place em behind the mirrors, add switch n such. BOOM

 

Or check out the MUTH brand mirrors. That's what I put in and they are great!
