Hello, all. My name is Bryan and I'm a new Tacoma owner, as well as a new member to the forums. Just thought I'd introduce myself, give a little background, and lay out some plans for my Taco(with hopefully lots of advice, tips, and recommendations from the folks here on the forums). I'm not the most mechanically inclined dude, medicine yes. lol But, I'm a pretty quick learner and want to do most of the installs myself. I do have a couple buddies who have offered their knowledge, tools, and garages to me. lol

As mentioned, I just bought a 2020 Taco, Red, access cab, 4x4, 4cly. Yes, I know, 4cly isn't the most exciting, or optimal, for off-roading. BUT. It's what I could afford, and I do not anticipate doing any serious, frequent, off-roading. I think mainly will be doing light/moderate trails, and some light overland/camping stuff.

As for goals: I would like a suspension lift(4"-6") to accommodate a nice aggressive stance without too much, if any, cutting/trimming. I was thinking something like 18x10.5 wheels with -18 to -24 offset and run 33's. I would like roof rack and overland-type bed rack(one that would work with a retracting toneu cover. If I were to do aftermarket/off-road bumpers, I think a simple front bumper with recovery options would be the one I would do. For performance, I was thinking new exhaust(also for sound, lol), cold air intake system, re-gear it(5.29's?), and then chip it(if there's such a thing).

Thanks in advance for all the help, and look forward to talking with you all.

Hahahaha Thank you, sir! I actually haven't, to be completely honest. lol I touched on this site when I was researching lifts, and bookmarked a thread, and then went on. I've watched a lot of YouTube, used google, and my brother(a long time Taco owner! He got a 2019 4x4 TRD Sport Crewcab!). Now, I'm turning my attention to the guys/gals who've been in the trenches to fine tune my knowledge. LOL
