Been lurking the forums for a couple months and really enjoy the amount of info that is available. Picked up. A 2016 SR AC 4x4 a few months ago and I am enjoying the new ride. I traded in my 2004 Tundra Limited DC for it. Planning on retroing the headlights soon and new wheels and tires afterwards.

What body of water is that? I was close by there in August when I took a trip to Primm and back through Mojave National Preserve. What is there to see out on Christmas Tree Pass Road? Looks beautiful out there.

Thats Lake Mojave on the Nevada side. I took Telephone Cove Road to get here. Its about 4 or 5 miles before getting to Laughlin on the 163.
A quick google search on youtube search will show you a nice trail on christmas tree pass. You can also see Native American petroglyphs on that trail. Its nice and quite out there. I love it...

Right on thank you. I'll definitely make an attempt to check it out next time I'm out that way. I grew up in Maine and these kind of areas are what are closest to what it's like to be back there where you don't have to pay for camping and can explore freely as well. I love the desert. Do you live out there?

Been to Nordstroms like twice...both times I walked out and went over to Nordstroms Rack accross the street. Too much $$$$.. Awesome..close by. You experience the same congested hell of Southern Cali!!

Luckily I'm usually just going between Long Beach and Downey so I don't have to contend with traffic going east - west. I feel for the people that have hour plus commutes. I did that the first two months I lived down here going from Long Beach to west LA every day and quit that job quickly - luckily being single I had that option.
