Hello everyone, my name is Sam and i am new to this forum. I have a 2010 Black Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed. I like to call her Sharleen. I am nearing the 180,000 mile marker soon. I bought this brand new and its pretty much bone stock. Have replaced normal wear and tear items and been diligent with maintenance. Its a pleasure to be amongst other Tacomians.

    Thank you!

    Will be doing so shortly!

I have a question, so recently i noticed my transmission has been delaying gear changes. It is an automatic and i noticed that once i would reach the 40 mph and above speed it would not hit overdrive and rpms would remain high. I have not changed the transmission filter, would this possibly be the cause and remedy the situation.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Hi, Sam and welcome to TW! Changing the oil and filter probably wouldn’t hurt. The o rings on the solenoids are probably dirty and sticking. Take them out and clean and lube them, too
