2005 Tacoma,, I have the CH4x4 aftermarket fog light switch hooked into my OEM fog light harness. When I turn on the running lights the bottom LED lights up like it should. When I push the button to turn on the fog lights which the fog lights do come on the top LED on the CH 4 x 4 switch doesn’t come on?? I’ve tested the switch and it works perfectly in other things I have hooked up. First photo is stock wiring and switch.
Second photo shows CH 4 X 4 wire diagram.
Third picture shows bottom LED working with running lights on.
Top LED on switch doesn’t turn on but the fog lights come on when pushed in?

Friendly FYI, don’t use “HELP” in the title. It’s reserved for immediate emergency needs like being stuck on a trail or road.

Edit: it also looks like you have multiple threads for the same issue

Read this thread and have a look at the wiring diagram. I think the OEM fog light switch actually completes a connection to ground when it is closed, as opposed to switching the positive.

Perhaps try switching wire #1 and #2 and see it that works. LEDs are polarity sensitive and won't light up if the polarity is reversed.

What is the model/logo # of that switch from Ch4x4? I didn't see that image on their website and was looking at doing the same as you did.

Yep it won’t work,, I just have to wire it straight to the fog lights to get it to work properly. See page 3
