    Hey all,
So someone broke just the mirror out of my friends '05 Infiniti FX35 on the drivers side. Her car is the standard model, and does not have navigation but it does have mirror control from inside the car just like our tacomas. The feature where you can adjust the placement of the mirror with a button. Anyways, she is trying to order a new one and the option w/o navigation is $25, but w/ navigation is $60

    w/o - http://www.oemonlineparts.com/partl...0480&callout=2&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0

    w/- http://www.oemonlineparts.com/partl...FX35&year=2005&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0

Am I correct to assume that if she orders the w/o navigation mirror insert that will be correct, and it will still be able to be adjusted from inside the vehicle through the switch.

Also does anyone know why it is so much more expensive for the model w/ navigation?

    Thanks everyone!

is the mirror controlled through the nav system? seems weird that the mirrors would be different. and these cars only come with power mirrors, so if she doesn't have the navi, she needs the mirror w/out navi.
EDIT: Did she break the entire assembly off? Or just the glass? The assembly is 280 bucks, the parts you have listed are the mirror only.

Right, just the mirror its self is broken, not the assembly. And thats what i thought as well that all models were power so the w/o nav is the way to go. I'm not sure why the other would be so much more unless it has a camera or something outrageous in it haha

-also her mirror is controlled almost the same as our tacos, through a joystick like button/switch to the left of the steering wheel on the dash
