I was getting in my truck and noticed some oil on my floor mat. I looked up and saw this underneath the dash on the steering column by the green dot leaking. What is it? Expensive fix? I have 57,000 miles on the truck. Had it right at 5 years.

I just parked my truck and popped the hood. I looked at the power steering reservoir and the level is a smidge below the hot min line.

I can't make out what is shown in the photo, but is it a manual transmission? If so, the clutch master cylinder leaking would be a possibility, but maybe shoot a better pic or two.

It is an automatic. It is leaking right there by the green dot.

It is dark out now. I can try tomorrow but I will be getting with my mechanic about it then.

If you can imagine sitting in your truck and then reaching up behind the plastic to feel around where the steering wheel goes into a shaft looking thing that is this.
