help with break lines

I'm trying to install extended brake line on my rear axle. I have unscrewed the threads all the way, pulled the little retaining clip and the rubber and metal lines still won"t serperate . i can wiggle the metal line around a little.

the only thing i can think to do is pull the metal line at the brake caliper
and replace it too.

any ideas? and where i can get a metal line?
