Help With Removing Scratch

I got this deep scratch on the rear bumper. Does anyone know if I should buy touch up paint or something else to help make it less noticeable?

 

Think major payne's philosophy. Hit a tree in the rear quarter panel and then brag about it to chicks. You will forget about that scratch. Other then that; I am not a body guy so I couldn't tell ya

 

If it's just clear coat/color coat, you can buff it out to lessen the severity of the look.

That looks like it's down to primer, and I'd say buy touchup paint. Just beware, Silver Streak Mica touchup is darker than what's layed down on the vehicle from the factory. I know, I have the same color.

That picture is difficult to tell, so I tried to cover both bases.

That scratch looks pretty deep so yeah, touch up paint is probably your only option short of a respray.

The "dent wizard type guys" here can blend that in for $25.00 or so ... and you would never see it.

Anybody know any specific brand or anything that I should use?

 

just buy the oem touch-up paint from the dealership... a coat or two should hide that pretty well.

I don't know how well equipped you are but if you have the time you could get the OEM paint and some clear coat. Put a thin layer of the paint heat gun/blow dryer it so it's completely dry and then do the same for the clear coat. If you feel comfortable doing wet sanding and polishing you can make it come out really nice. Just flatten out the clear with a light sand with 3000 and then polish it back up.
