I backed into something and trashed the electric connection for towing which is bolted to the frame right next to the place where the trailor is connected.

Is it called a T-commection? Where do I get a replacement and how is there somewhere that will show me how to do it?

I can't be the first to do this.

    Couple things...

First off, welcome to the forums! :)

Second, you'll get more feedback with a descriptive title for your posts. ;)

Third, check with the dealer. Not inexpensive, but factory parts often work best. Often, the price difference between the dealer and somewhere like Uhaul isn't enough to justify the hacking needed to install a non-factory part.

Fourth - youtube is your friend... ;) Start here and expand your search to find one for your generation of truck. :)

The "help" title is actually against forum rules so I wouldn't keep doing it.

Start a descriptive want to buy thread with an appropriate title and I'm sure you'll have someone in days wanting to sell you theirs. I sold mine to one of our mods.

aftermarket ones suck so stick with OE IMO.
