My truck was involved in a collision with all the impact on the drivers side front wheel. After getting diagnosed at several shops, even the dealership, we found that the wheel was bent due to the blow. After buying a new wheel and getting it balanced and aligned the truck still seems to be shaking after a few days. Every time I go to get an oil change I bring the situation up but no one has done anything... I need help diagnosing what specific part it is that is out of alignment or bent. Furthermore, when I hit 70mph the steering wheel will shake violently in my hands so whatever it is I'm assuming is effecting the steering arm. If that isn't the problem to begin with.

Your saying you hit something hard enough to bend a wheel causing no other damage ??

Hit the wheel that hard doing no damage to the tire ??

Broken belts might not be noticed in an alignment but at higher speeds for sure.

What were your alignment numbers ??

Something moving after the alignment ??

Either you need to find a better front end shop or your not understanding something they told you .

Why several Shops ??There must be a good story here.

Pictures of the impacted side might help

Was this low speed under 15 mph

In the middle some place .

Maybe High speed 60 mph plus ??

Our local Goodyear shop noticed a bent wheel when my wife got her tires replaced. They refused to do alignment until wheel was replaced. My point is that another general garage should be able to diagnose and give you an estimate. (In her case probably low profile tires contributed.)

You might get more help if the thread title was more specific. Just sayin.
    Good luck.
