Hey intro

Hey guys I bought my first new truck last night. I never thought I would buy a brand new car in my life. I always said the only new vehicle id ever buy is a Toyota Tacoma or a VW tdi. I'm a cnc machinist here in Harrisburg pa. I'm an Audi enthusiast, obsessed with the 2.7t and the B5 s4's. Anyway This past month I had some issues with my daily driver s4. Turns out its time to finally pull the engine and go stage 3! Due to my situation it looks like that will take quite a long time to get money together for something like that. this past month I've had to pull out my 79 280s and daily that. Within that time I was made an offer for the merc and had to take it. Its time I get a real reliable daily driver. To the Toyota dealer I go. I wanted a basic no frills tool. my only requirements was 4x4 and a manual trans.
BOOM, couldn't be happier.

put 200miles on it so far. Can't wait to be a member of this community!

Welcome to TW! How are things in PA? I used to live in Trexlertown before leaving for Fort Sill, OK. Are you planning any mods for your truck?

 

Thanks guys! Pa is great, loving the spring time weather. I haven't been thinking about mods for the truck yet, the dust haven't even settled lol. I do want bigger beefier tires. I bought this truck for a long term daily driver. I won't go too crazy with it. We go to the outer banks a lot in the off season so it will see its fair share of beach abuse. As the years go on I'll upgrade stuff as I see best. I have a couple other projects that I mod so I'm looking at this truck as "ain't broke, don't fix it" for now. ... I do get the mod bug pretty bad from time to time tho.
