Horn intermittently works

    My horn works intermittently I checked the two fuses in the engine compartment,any ideas?

    Wiring? Intermittent failure wouldn't be a fuse issue, outside of a loose fuse AFAIK.

    like it doesn't work when the wheel is straight but if you turn it then it works?

    It worked on and off but now nothing I'll try turning tthe wheel to see if it works. What is the spiral cable?

    Thanks guys my horn only works when my steering wheel is turned full left.

    My horn didn't work when I bought the truck new off the lot. There's a ground wire in the steering column (dealer took cover off the front of the wheel where the airbag is) and they determined that was loose. They reconnected and it's worked fine since.

    Had 21 miles on the truck and it had it's first service. lol
