If the front door speakers are 6x9s, why does everybody replace them with 5 1/4s or other round speakers?? Will most any 6x9 fit in the stock front door hole??

Limited options in 6x9s first of all and secondly, People that know whats up usually put 8 inch mid bass/range drivers in. There's also a massive variety of 6 1/2s to choose from, but no one i know puts 5 1/4s in

Thanks. I am certainly NOT one of those people that knows what's up when it comes to audio equipment. I just know that I want my stereo to sound good, but I have no idea how to get there.
