I finally broke down and made an account since I have been on here so much over the years. The issue is I keep blowing the IG1 fuse and losing AC, blinkers, and the shifter locks. I have a brand new NSS from Toyota and no reverse or tail accessories. I have replaced the fuse 3 or 4 times now and every-time I throw the truck in reverse with a new fuse it blows and I lose all the things stated previously again. Any help is very much appreciated!

If it only blows when you put the truck in reverse then you have a short to ground somewhere in the reverse circuit (Pin 1 Red/White wire), that wire also runs to the Combination Meter (Instrument Panel) and PCM.

Ever solve this? Having the same issue. IG1 10 amp fuse pops every time I go into reverse.

I doubt you’ll get a response, this was OP only one post

Good reminder for people that post there issues here to share there results so that we can all of read the final chapter, which hopefully can slow down the number of similar threads.

Well I think I fixed it. Long story short, a rough road I've been commuting on seems to have caused one of the reverse bulbs to rattle slightly out of place. I removed both bulbs, started the truck, selected reverse, and the fuse didn't pop...re-seated the bulbs and all seems to be good. Weird that the fuse also controls the AC, turn signals, and shifter lock-out. Had me worried it was a major electrical issue.
