Disclaimer: Automotive electrical isn't my forte. I know enough to be dangerous to myself and others. Lets just say I have several "welded" screwdrivers and jackknives to prove that I'm no stranger to volts and amps.

    Anyway, for the question:
Is there a way to add a dedicated accessory fuse block that's only powered when the ignition is in the on position?

I have an SR. As you know, they're comparatively plain and I'd like to add some aesthetic lighting. (Grill lights, DRL, Fogs, etc.) I don't want to end up with a Philippino taxi, but I'd like some tasteful bling on my new-to-me ride.

Instead of hacking into the fuse panel and trying to find a suitable victim I can splice into for donor electricity, I'd like to have a dedicated accessory fuse block to keep everything tidy and organized. Not a fan of spaghetti wiring.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks.

Use a relay to power your accessory box and trigger it off an ignition source.
