Installed the Bestop

So after many reading the thread starting I have decided to go with the Bestop.

 

that looks sooo sick. Ive always liked the look of those on our trucks.

 

how much did that run you? Im really thinking about getting one.

I got it for $500 shipped brand new.

 

ok cool. Im still deciding if its the looks for me. The thing i like is that its not solid ( i dont like those) And it folds down when you want. Also I think it would keep everything dry back there also.

 

are they easy to take on and off or is it meant to stay on?

 

oh and btw i really like the way it looks on your white truck

 

Looks good!!! Dont bother installing the 3rd brake light, its a piece of junk!!

 

Easy to install but since I was doing it at late night took me forever. You can fold down the cover. I did install the 3rd brake light and its really a pos lol.

 

do the side windows open or just the sides completely?

 

Complete side slides out. Same with the rear.

 

looking good man, youll love it, i use mine alot. I change what my truck looks like all the time, the bestop is the way to go.

 

Yea it takes a little to install it. I actually took mine completely off a few months ago and re-installed my tonneou cover. Yea the 3rd brake light bounces back and forth and mine snapped when I was off-roading!!

 

How long had you have your bestop and how is it holding up?

 

Looks good! I think you will really like it. I have had one for 3 years and it is holding up good, Despite never really doing too much to it. Just a good hosing off once in a while. I did have to replace some of the rivets with bolts but I do have a lot of dirt miles. Have fun, it's a versatile product.

You guys have any pics of it folded down?

 

Here is one with the windows out and one folded, kind of hard to see with the tent there but you get the idea. Basically folds forward like a bimini top on a boat.

 

Sweet looking rig. Have you ever camp in the bed with the bestop if so how was it?
