so guys,

im installing subs for my 2002 dc. im using the typical box that is for sale online. i took a look behind the seats and the tire gear is being held in by a metal bracket. the box fits otherwise. i havent actually started the install so i havent moved any of the carpet. with my situation in mind i have a few questions:

do i have to take off the tire gear bracket? is it screwed down?
what other hardware must i remove?
does this install require any cutting etc..?
