Ok, i am a horrible electrician.
But i am also a volunteer emt. Now i'm attempting to install strobe dash lights. The specs of these light are as follows,
12 volts DC Fused Power Supply Built In
    Draws only 2 amps.
It doesn't have an adapter which i thought it did, i believe i have to plug it into the fuse box but i have no idea which fuse to use or even where the fuse boc is.
    Does anybody have advice?

How about wire a cigarette lighter plug on the end and plug it in to the 12v outlet. If you hard wire it you will have to get a switch to control when it is on and off.

I agree with the last post. Tie them into a cig plug. Radio Shack used to sell them specifically for your situation. Havent been in there in years to know if they still do. However if your tacoma is an 05+ the fuse panel is on the left side of the steering wheel behind the coin tray
