Yep, took the plunge and purchased a 2003 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4.

The prior owner did the following:
    ARB front lockers,
    6" lift
    Safari Snorkel
    Rims/Tires
Custom rear bumper with tail guards
Rear diff snorkel (at least that is what it looks like)
    Aftermarket front bumper
    KC lights
    Mile Marker winch
    Frontier crew cab roof bar
    74,000 miles

Just got the ARB lockers to function properly as they were fully engaged when switching to 4x4 (couldn't steer) - BIG thanks to Scott @ ARB for the new solenoid!!!!

Coming from a 2003 Audi RS6 (450hp V8 twin turbo AWD super sedan) to the Tacoma -> time for family fun and trails!

    Planned additions to the Taco:
    1. Skid plates
    2. Spare Key
    3. Spare Tire
    4. Hi Lift jack

The RS6 is a fun fast car, but in PNW, there is limited area to get it into the speed range it needs to be flogged at. I enjoyed my time with that car and it is time for something else that I can use to take the family out camping or wheeling.

Yes, an RS6 can be rather expensive.

But I am looking forward to taking the Tacoma out to Naches or Tahuya...

Audi's have a refinement at high speeds that you just don't get with anything from USDM. A guy at my shop had a 2001 S8 and a 2005 S4... I always wanted to line them up and see what would happen; I think they would've been pretty close! He moved on to a Hennessey tuned '13 Focus ST. Was going to supercharge his '11 Tundra, but he gets bored quick and got rid of that too...
