Boy what a great site for Tacoma owners! I read the post on lighting up the 4x4 switch and did that with no troubles! That bugged me since I bought the truck! I have a 2009 Tacoma 4x4 access cab 4 cyl, with a warn winch & brush guard, conopy with roof rack, front & rear lifts, tuffy in bed lock box, camo seat covers, etc.....I took out the little back seats, made a flat deck {with carpet} so my dogs can ride back there and my rifles slid under the deck! Works good for lots of stuff! I do lots of hunting, camping, metal detecting, 4 wheeling in the mountains....I really like just exploring the back roads and trails here in the North-West....WA., ID, OR, Montana....I have had 5 other Toyota trucks through the years, all have owed me nothing when I passed them on!!! Great trucks!!! I have just turned over 32,000 miles on this 09.....Yikes that happens fast! Just changed the oil to "Moble 1", to soon to see what it really does? I tow two small trailers most every day {flat bed & cargo} for my construction business and this rig does it very well! I have owned 4x4s for over 35 years...one thing I know is there is no perfect rig BUT the Tacoma comes pretty close for me!
